DE | Hallo ihr Lieben! Es ist schon eine Weile her, seit ich hier das letzte Mal gebloggt habe. Das ist weniger aus Zeitgründen passiert, vielmehr aus Grübelei. Ich habe mir nämlich Gedanken darüber gemacht, was ich in Zukunft auf diesem Blog schreiben möchte. Schon lange habe ich die Traumvorstellung, einen Reiseblog zu machen, doch ich möchte mich nicht zwingend darauf beschränken. NETTI WRITES hat als Blog für meine kreativen Texte angefangen, und ich möchte wieder mehr Beiträge in diese Richtung veröffentlichen. Und ich möchte mich bemühen, relevante Themen aus meinem Alltag zu beschreiben.

Awkward.

I’m currently watching AWKWARD., the MTV show, because I only saw a few episodes now and then and started to like the characters. AWKWARD is not the only TV show that portrays teenagers‘ life in American High Schools and no matter the format, for foreign people it seems that there is a lot of bullying going on in High Schools. Without knowing whether it is true or not, you might think that there will be „stronger“ and „weaker“ groups of students and clichéd cliques like the sporty ones, the smart ones etc.

In AWKWARD, Jenna gets a letter. The writer tells her that she doesn’t stick out enough and what she should do to be „cooler“. What do you think about the tips? Why do we have to try to be cooler than others?

Uni-Check: Würzburg

Würzburg – eine Stadt in Unterfranken in Bayern mit grünem U (dem Ringpark) und einer Universität! Da ich auch hier zu Besuch war, möchte ich euch im Rahmen eines Uni-Checks erzählen, wie die Probevorlesung war und zeige meine Bilder von Würzburg. Viel Vergnügen! :)

Uni-Check: Stuttgart

Zwar ist Stuttgart nicht neu für mich, da ich ja in dieser schönen Stadt wohne – aber den Campus der Universität Stuttgart zu besuchen, war trotzdem sehr spannend! Uni-Check: Tübingen

Um mich besser über die Universität, das Studienangebot und das Städtchen Tübingen zu informieren, habe ich mich letzte Woche zu einem Besuch aufgemacht. Nun will ich Tübingen aus meiner Perspektive vorstellen, denn ich war einfach begeistert!

EAT, pray, love

EN | For more than two years now, I longed to go to Italy. I have been in Italy before, but there was an urge to go back to this beautiful country again. While still being at university, I even visited a language class, because I also love Italian. Soon I stumbled across a movie called eat, pray, love and as I absolutely love Julia Roberts, I just had to watch it! I loved the movie and soon bought the book. Now I want to give a review on the first part of the book – the part where narrator Liz travels to Rome (just like I did eventually) and through Italy to follow the pursuit of pleasure. The EAT-part, so to say… Enjoy!
